We have a number of contract roles within the biggest defence company in the country based out of there Bristol site within there ILog department for Supply Chain Managers, Operation Managers and Logistics Managers (ILS).

Working within the iLog department there are three definitive specialist skills (TTLS – integrated logistics support and Supply Chain Management) that will feed directly into the role of Operations Manager.

Daily rate £255 – £346 depending on level of experience and level of role

SC clearance are essential for all roles

Contract end dates 30th April 2020 with view to extend

Supply Chain Managers requirements:

  • Support implementation of HIMA dashboard and conduct interventions using and must have knowledge and experience of MOD Inventory /Supply processes and systems – BWIMS, CRISP, SS3, ISOPS, MJDI and MIRANDA.
  • Knowledge and experience of material accounting in MOD.
  • Knowledge and experience of data analytics in a supply environment

Operations Managers requirements:

  • The challenge is to make sure that the Support to the Front-Line Commands is not just effective but also highly efficient. The civilian and military specialists of the Operations Manager specialism will be central to the success of this endeavour, with the ability to deploy a wide range of operational management skills to ensure that support needs are not only built into equipment design from the start but are constantly optimised through life.
  • As the Operations Manager you will form the backbone of delivery teams during the ‘In-Service’ phase of the CADMID cycle.
  • This role requires you to have experience in Air defence or have been in the RAF and vast experience working within Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain within Operations.

Logistics Support Manager (ILS) – Engineering requirements

  • The role requires contributions to providing advice on; the delivery of strategic planning and support arrangements relating to engineering or on the technical elements of equipment support and logistics services.
  • This includes planning, delivery and operation of in-service support, equipment modifications, understanding of repair procedures and resolution of design and/or maintenance issues.
  • It covers roles such as Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM) and Equipment Support Manager (ESM).
